High Desert Museum Bend, OR There are 13 species of otters. The ONE otter they had here looked more like a weasle than the cute and playful sea otters I was hoping to find. I felt a sorry for the little dude. He kept running the same circle again and again. I think he was missing his freedom. |

Burning Man Wish Come True While I was at Burning Man I made a wish on a shooting star to finally make it off of this continent. Coincidentally I spent a lot of time at > Japanorama this year. When I saw this sign I reflected on that. I was off the continent for the first time in 33 years. How odd that I should go from Japanorama to Japan. Foreshadowing does happen. Wishes do come true. |
