Seismic Campout
Just after I took this photo I noticed an elderly couple standing off to the side, not far from me. They were amazed with what they were witnessing. (Remember this is a public campground; not everyone expected to find a 4,000 watt sound system and a few hundred revelers.)
I talked with them a bit explaining the dance party they were witnessing. Their wonderment was amusing and a sweet spot in my night. I walked them over to watch the fire dancers. Talking with them was one of my favorite moments...then I rejoined my friends in the dance.

Seismic Campout
I went out to the beach and watched this alone. It was an amazingly peaceful moment that I enjoyed...but I prefer sharing a glass of champagne and the sunrise with someone.

Two weeks ago I hosted a dinner party for "the girls". Liz asked, "Maddie, are you ever going to come back to Minna?"
111 Minna used to be our focal social spot. I have been pulling out of that scene for the last year. Now it's exceedingly rare for me to go.
"No Liz, I'll come out...when there's good reason to go...like a Birthday Party."
You see, Minna hosts Progressive House. Me, I'm a breaks girl. But I'll be there tomorrow Liz.
